So a lot of people are running around the country right now shouting that America has become fascist, communist, socialist, and a dictatorship. They hold many protests, including in the capital. During the protests, no-one is arrested, there are no beatings, no-one disappears mysteriously, no-one is shot, no-one is tortured. Further, these protests are run on TV without censorship.
That sounds like no fascist, communist, socialist, or dictatorial government I've ever heard of. These people make a big show of talking about their freedoms being quashed, but they are getting far better treatment than the Iraq War protesters received.
Where are our jack-booted thugs? Where are the truncheon and gun-wielding government agents? Why are these protesters not in jail? Why are none of them dead or tortured? Because America is a free country, no matter how much these people want to pretend otherwise.
